During university Cristina undertook placements at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in the US and achieved highest standing in her graduating year. During her PhD course, she was awarded a European Space Agency grant and was sponsored by the Japanese Society for the Promotion of Science to carry out her research in Tokyo. Cristina joined GJE in 2008 and works in a variety of technologies in the fields of mechanics, electronics, and computer-implemented inventions. She is a part-qualified British patent attorney and is working towards full British and European qualification. She assists Stephen Haley.
