Ed qualified as a Trade Mark Attorney in 2010, winning the Payne/Bennett Memorial Award for one of his exams before joining GJE in 2011. Ed entered the profession in 2006 and previously worked at another legal 500 trade mark attorney firm.

Ed has advised clients with a wide range of interests, including major consumer electronics producers, pharmaceutical developers and cosmetics retailers. Ed assists clients with all aspects of trade marks, from the initial selection of a mark and clearance searches and filing through to registration as well as advising on oppositions at UK and Community level.

Prior to entering the profession, Ed studied English Literature at the University of Sheffield.
